August 8th, 2009 - Noon Turf Care Summer Conference

At Noon Turf Care we are always learning. That’s why all of our Massachusetts state certified technicians are required to log at least 40 hours of classroom and field training to learn about new lawn issues and techniques each season. Not only does this allow our technicians to remain current with credits to maintain their pesticide license but it also gives them a breather by learning new elements of lawn care.

As part of this process, this year a conference which is organized and run by MLCAP was held at the grounds of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. On this day of intense learning, an expert covered all areas of agronomics to include disease and pest identification, fertilizer and pesticide safety training and other subjects related to lawn and tree care. Field training was also a key part as new lawn issues could be learned on the grounds of the Holy Cross Campus. As always, Noon Turf Care Technicians proudly represented the company and they received glowing reviews from the organizers for their participation and input.
