Tree and Shrub Specialist
Job Information

Noon Turf Care is one of New England’s fastest growing lawn care companies and we are looking for motivated, quality-oriented, hard-working individuals with positive attitudes to fill tree and shrub specialist positions. Tree and Shrub Technicians are responsible for servicing and administering of tree and shrub care products to residential customers. Technicians are responsible for the management and service of 500-600 assigned customers. Noon Technicians must also be able to project a clean and professional image to our customers.
Daily Tasks Include
- Fertilizing and spraying the trees and shrubs of 25-35 homes per day
- Maintaining customer relations by servicing and educating the client on horticulture
- Diagnosing and addressing tree and shrub diseases, insect damage and any other abnormalities with trees and shrubs.
- Measuring and quantifying the mixing of products for fertilizers and pesticides
- Maintaining an organized and clean truck and any other equipment you are issued
- Driving some day in excess of 100 miles
- Logging production and diagnosis into a PC
- Calling clients in the evening to ensure excellent customer service and client retention
Requirements
- YOU NEED A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE
- Excellent Customer Service and phone skills
- High School Diploma (GED)
- Must be goal oriented
- 21 Years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- MA pesticide license
- At least two years of horticultural experience with another firm or an arborist degree
- PC skills a must
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be able to navigate in unfamiliar areas of the state
- Excellent and Professional oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers regarding service and sales.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to work as a team player
- Problem Solving and Time Management Skills a Must
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat and rain. (8-10 hours per day).
- Ability to work Saturdays throughout the year
